Description

You will own the design, development, and maintenance of automated test scripts for RESTful APIs and web applications.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain automated test scripts for RESTful APIs and web applications.
• Perform API testing using REST-assured, SuperTest, or Postman.
• Implement automation frameworks using Cypress, JavaScript/TypeScript, or Java.
• Develop Behavior Driven Development (BDD) scenarios with Cucumber/Gherkin.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines alongside development and DevOps teams.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of professional experience in software testing or automation.
• Strong proficiency in Java, JavaScript, or TypeScript.
• Hands-on experience with Cypress for API and UI automation.
• Solid experience with REST API testing tools (REST-assured, SuperTest, or Postman).
• Familiarity with JavaScript testing frameworks (Playwright, Puppeteer, Jest, Mocha, or Chai).
• Experience with BDD frameworks, specifically Cucumber or Gherkin syntax.
• Strong knowledge of Git and Git Flow.
• Experience with cloud platforms or device farms (AWS, Azure, GCP, BrowserStack, Sauce Labs).

Preferred Skills

• Experience integrating tests into complex CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of additional API testing tools beyond those listed.
