Description

You will own the testing lifecycle for complex telephony and networking systems, executing formal test methods across multiple hardware platforms.

Responsibilities

• Perform baseline, integration, system, and regression testing to support research and development efforts.
• Analyze large log datasets and software test data, documenting results clearly and concisely.
• Create and maintain test plans, procedures, requirements verification traceability matrices, and test summary reports.
• Develop, build, and test lab environments using various telephony and networking hardware.
• Manage discrepancy reports and adjust schedules to address unexpected issues.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience as a test engineer developing and executing test scripts for complex systems.
• Strong Python programming experience, including script development and regular expression creation for data searching.
• Ability to integrate new and legacy technologies into existing network configurations and test beds.
• Experience setting priorities and managing schedules in dynamic R&D environments.
• Bachelor's degree in Math, Science, Engineering, Statistics, or Engineering Management (or 4 additional years of related experience).
• Ability to create test scenarios and support the creation of test cases and procedures.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with Jenkins or other Continuous Integration frameworks.
• Experience with PyTest automation frameworks.
• Familiarity with SPLUNK and working in Linux or Agile environments.
