Description

You will own the automation strategy and implementation for API testing.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Identify test cases for automation and select appropriate coverage based on requirements analysis.
• Develop and maintain the API automation test plan, defining scope and objectives.
• Implement and manage the automation framework for executing automated tests.
• Monitor defect management, reporting, and collaborate with teams to ensure quality standards.
• Manage API changes by executing regression tests and integrating testing into the CI/CD pipeline.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of industry experience in QA or Software Testing.
• Proficiency in Java or Javascript for developing automated tests.
• Hands-on experience with automation frameworks including Selenium, Playwright, or Appium.
• Experience with test automation frameworks like TestNG or JUnit.
• Mandatory experience with version control systems, specifically Git.
• Experience implementing and integrating testing into CI/CD pipelines using tools like Azure DevOps.
• Familiarity with mobile applications and microservices (APIs).
• Basic understanding of requirement gathering, analysis, and testing concepts.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
