Description

You will own the testing lifecycle for ETL pipelines and data warehouse components, ensuring data integrity and backend application quality.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Create and execute test cases based on business requirements and ETL design documents.
• Perform backend data-driven testing on ETL Datawarehouse components and data applications.
• Identify data submission or ETL transaction issues, coordinate with DBAs, and assist in remediation planning.
• Analyze ETL mapping documents to design test plans and validate ETL code.
• Define and track QA metrics, including defect counts, test results, and overall status.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience testing backend applications with a focus on complex SQL queries.
• Strong proficiency in SQL for database testing and validation.
• Hands-on experience with ETL tools and Data Warehouse testing methodologies.
• Experience creating and executing test cases for both front-end applications and data warehousing processes.
• Familiarity with Agile Software Development & Testing methods for cloud deployments.
• Experience using Azure DevOps for defect tracking.
• Proficiency in Python.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field.
• Experience with cloud deployment testing workflows.
