Description

You will test highly critical real-time distributed client-server applications and embedded medical devices within a healthcare informatics environment.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive software test strategies and initiatives at feature and system levels.
• Develop functional test suites, documentation, and comprehensive test scripts or protocols.
• Convert functional requirements into Gherkin scenarios and review stories for accuracy and testability.
• Troubleshoot, triage, and investigate software defects and failure modes.
• Perform manual and automated testing within agile/scrum teams throughout the development cycle.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of hands-on experience performing automation or software development using C#.
• Experience with HL7/FHIR medical device interfacing and embedded medical device testing.
• Proficiency in testing Software as a Medical Device (SaMD).
• Strong networking knowledge including TCP/IP, WLAN, DNS, DHCP, and Active Directory.
• Experience with Microsoft Windows operating systems, specifically Windows XP, 7, and 8.
• Understanding of OOP concepts, algorithms, data structures, and BDD.
• Experience with Unit Tests, CI/CD, and API/Micro Services testing.

Preferred Skills

• Background in patient monitoring systems-based products.
• Experience working with OEM vendors to qualify solutions for larger systems.
