Description

You will own end-to-end testing for data engineering and reporting projects, ensuring functional and non-functional quality across ETL pipelines and downstream systems.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Create test scenarios, use cases, user stories, and test scripts to validate functional requirements and reporting accuracy.
• Define and enforce testing phase entrance and exit criteria, coordinating environment readiness including connectivity, test data, and user access.
• Automate testing processes for ETL data transformations and facilitate end-to-end validation from data sourcing to rendering and capture.
• Plan, coordinate, and execute system and user acceptance testing, conducting requirements traceability and gap analysis.
• Diagnose problems, report defects, and communicate test plans, progress, issues, and risks to key project stakeholders and vendors.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on testing experience with 2+ years in a senior testing role.
• 3+ years of experience in testing automation.
• Proven experience testing ETL data transformations and data engineering pipelines.
• Ability to coordinate integration and acceptance testing across multiple in-scope platforms and systems.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills to identify root causes of issues and recommend resolutions.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage business relationships and coordinate between vendor and internal resources.
• Attention to detail and ability to meet aggressive deadlines while maintaining quality and confidentiality of sensitive data.
