Description

You will focus on Section 508 compliance and accessibility testing for various software projects.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and prioritize 508 compliance testing activities across multiple development teams.
• Write clear test report documentation for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Execute testing tasks within restricted timeframes.
• Present ideas using business-friendly and user-friendly language.
• Collaborate with senior leadership and participate in executive-level meetings.

Required Skills

• Knowledge of 508 compliance and WCAG 2.1 A& AA requirements.
• Experience with assistive technologies including JAWS, NVDA, and VoiceOver.
• Experience with screen magnification software such as Fusion.
• Proficiency with testing tools like ANDI and color contrast analyzers.
• Knowledge of making documents accessible in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and Adobe Acrobat Professional.
• Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment.

Preferred Skills

• 3 years of experience on Section 508 testing and remediation projects.
• Experience supporting state government clients.
• Bachelor’s degree in technology, business, or a related field.
