Description

You will own Section 508 compliance and accessibility testing across multiple software projects, ensuring strict adherence to WCAG 2.1 A and AA standards. You coordinate testing activities with development teams and produce clear documentation for technical and executive audiences.

Responsibilities

• Execute accessibility testing within restricted timeframes for various software projects.
• Write detailed test reports using business-friendly and user-friendly language.
• Present findings and ideas in executive-level meetings alongside senior leadership.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prioritize compliance remediation.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of Section 508 compliance and WCAG 2.1 A & AA requirements.
• Hands-on experience with assistive technologies including JAWS, NVDA, and VoiceOver.
• Proficiency with screen magnification software such as Fusion.
• Expertise in testing tools like ANDI and color contrast analyzers.
• Ability to make documents accessible in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and Adobe Acrobat Professional.
• Proven ability to work independently in a fully remote environment.

Preferred Skills

• 3+ years of experience on Section 508 testing and remediation projects.
• Experience supporting state government clients.
