Description

You will develop and execute software tests to ensure in-house and commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) products meet business and functional requirements.

Responsibilities

• Create detailed test plans and test cases by translating business requirements into actionable scenarios.
• Execute system, regression, and load testing to identify defects, bugs, and configuration issues.
• Analyze application documentation to understand intended functionality and technical architecture.
• Identify candidates for automation and use testing tools to automate integration and user interface tests.
• Report defects and provide data-driven input to management regarding software release decisions.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in software testing or a related quality assurance role.
• Experience testing commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) products and applications.
• Strong knowledge of QA standard concepts, practices, and end-to-end testing methodologies.
• Ability to perform data analysis for QA purposes.
• Experience with defect reporting and troubleshooting complex technical bugs.
• Proven ability to write and execute test cases for both new and existing applications.
• Experience working within project teams to implement testing standards throughout the product lifecycle.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
