Test Engineer II

You will own the quality assurance lifecycle for both in-house and commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) products.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute end-to-end test plans, scenarios, and cases by translating business and functional requirements into actionable testing steps.
• Analyze technical architecture and documentation to ensure applications meet business requirements and system goals.
• Execute system, regression, and load testing while identifying defects, bugs, and interoperability flaws.
• Identify candidates for automation and use appropriate tools to automate integration and user interface tests.
• Collaborate with software engineers to enforce QA standards and promote quality coding through unit testing.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in software testing or a related technical area.
• Strong understanding of QA standard concepts, practices, and technologies.
• Experience testing COTS (Commercial Off-The-Shelf) solutions.
• Ability to perform troubleshooting, debugging, and root cause analysis of complex technical issues.
• Experience with end-to-end testing practices and defect reporting.
• Knowledge of ITSM (IT Service Management) environments.
• Proven ability to analyze formal test results to resolve deployment and configuration issues.

Preferred Skills

• Degree in a related field or equivalent professional experience.
