Description

Plan, coordinate, and execute testing and development projects for heavy-duty vehicles under senior engineering guidance.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Establish testing requirements for heavy-duty vehicles and associated equipment based on project needs.
• Create test plans and oversee implementation through coordination with technicians and subordinate engineers.
• Design plans for fixtures and test apparatuses and supervise their construction.
• Monitor testing progress and recommend corrective actions to maintain schedule and cost targets.
• Communicate test results and project status to stakeholders.

Required Skills

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.
• 1 to 7 years of related work experience.
• Experience with diesel or heavy-duty vehicles.
• Experience utilizing vehicle CAN bus systems for troubleshooting and diagnostics.
• Experience with Ford powertrain and electrical subsystems.
• Knowledge of powertrain systems.
• Ability to travel up to 50%.

Preferred Skills

• Experience coordinating with subordinate engineers and technicians.
