Description

You will coordinate testing and development projects for heavy-duty vehicles, ensuring schedule and cost targets are met.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop test plans and requirements for heavy-duty vehicles and associated equipment.
• Design plans for fixtures and test apparatuses, supervising their construction.
• Coordinate and monitor testing progress to ensure schedule and cost targets are met.
• Recommend equipment resources and assist in formulating project estimates.
• Communicate test status and results to relevant stakeholders.

Required Skills

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.
• 1 to 7 years of related work experience.
• Direct experience with diesel or heavy-duty vehicles.
• Hands-on experience with CAN bus systems for troubleshooting and diagnostics.
• Experience working with powertrain systems.
• Experience with electrical subsystems.
• Ability to travel up to 50%.

Preferred Skills

• Experience coordinating testing and development projects under senior engineering guidance.
