Description

You will lead PCB validation and performance characterization for consumer electronics and low-power devices.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Execute validation and characterization by developing comprehensive test plans for all program phases.
• Validate power regulation circuits, signal integrity, power integrity, protocol compliance, audio, sensors, and ecosystem interoperability.
• Provide expert root cause analysis and corrective action support to resolve hardware issues.
• Define validation priorities, track progress, and present data to design teams and stakeholders.
• Draft whitepapers for design reviews and define test procedures in lab and factory environments.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of experience in PCB validation or testing within consumer electronics or low-power device domains.
• Proficiency in Python for automation testing and test script development.
• Hands-on experience with lab test equipment including oscilloscopes, DMMs, spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, and logic analyzers.
• Programming experience in Python, Java, C#, C++, or C.
• Technical breadth in at least two domains such as power electronics, signal integrity, battery management, RF, audio, or sensor systems.
• Experience with schematic and board design tools like Altium, OrCAD, or Cadence.
• Ability to perform precision testing across RF, analog, and small-signal domains.
• BS/MS in Digital System Design, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with AR/VR systems, high-speed buses (USB, HDMI, PCIe, MIPI), or wearable low-power devices.
• Experience conceptualizing experiments using Design of Experiments (DOE).
