Description

You will lead PCB validation and performance characterization for consumer electronics and low-power devices.

Responsibilities

• Execute validation and performance characterization by developing and running comprehensive test plans.
• Validate power regulation circuits, signal integrity, power integrity, protocol compliance, audio, sensors, and ecosystem interoperability.
• Perform root cause analysis and provide corrective action support to resolve hardware issues.
• Define validation priorities, track progress, and present data at design reviews.
• Collaborate with design teams to ensure alignment of validation and characterization plans.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of experience in PCB validation or testing.
• Proficiency in Python for automation testing.
• Hands-on experience with lab test equipment including oscilloscopes, DMM, spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, and logic analyzers.
• Experience with PCB design tools such as Altium, OrCAD, or Cadence.
• Technical breadth in at least two domains: power electronics, signal integrity, battery management, RF, audio, or sensor systems.
• Experience programming in Python, Java, C#, C++, or C.
• Ability to perform precision testing in RF, analog, and small-signal domains.
• Experience troubleshooting designs and understanding instrumentation impact on measurements.
• Background in designing full system prototypes and coordinating test procedures in lab or factory environments.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with AR/VR systems, high-speed buses (USB, HDMI, PCIe, MIPI), or wearable low-power devices.
• Experience conceptualizing experiments using Design of Experiments (DOE).
