Description

You will ensure code quality and automation within high-volume, low-latency transaction processing systems.

Responsibilities

• Automate large-scale systems across multiple locations, environments, and infrastructure types.
• Write code to automate public cloud, private cloud, and bare metal deployments.
• Orchestrate the deployment and maintenance of complex applications.
• Perform performance engineering for enterprise software architecture.
• Conduct significant code development, including pull-request reviews and day-to-day support.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of engineering experience, preferably in high-volume, low-latency transaction processing systems.
• Proven experience creating CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins.
• Hands-on experience with Java and Spring Boot.
• Proficiency with Microservices architecture and RESTful APIs.
• Experience with Kafka and event-driven systems.
• Competency in Javascript and testing tools like Karate and Jmeter.
• Experience delivering scalable products via CI/CD on-prem or in public cloud infrastructure.
• Strong troubleshooting and technical communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with BDD, JUnit, mocking, and Gtest frameworks.
• Knowledge of virtualization technologies including Docker, Kubernetes, or Cloud Foundry.
• Familiarity with financial system encryption, symmetric cryptography, or HSMs.
