Description

Support complex program stand-ups by identifying operational testing needs and executing strategic planning for a safe shop floor environment.

Responsibilities

• Execute strategic planning initiatives to create safe and efficient shop floor testing environments.
• Author air vehicle system test procedures and plans for fuel, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
• Interface with shop floor management and personnel to troubleshoot vehicle test issues and implement process improvements.
• Create Manufacturing Test Engineering Statements of Work and contractual requirements.
• Support the Quality Organization through root cause analysis and corrective action activities for process-related defects.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in aircraft sub-system testing and troubleshooting (fuel systems, pumps, valves, actuators, hydraulics, and electrical).
• Experience acting as a Test Conductor or Director for air vehicle testing.
• Hands-on experience with test equipment including multimeters, oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and network analyzers.
• Proficiency with Ground Support Equipment (GSE) such as hydraulic mules, power carts, and cooling air carts.
• Technical expertise in wire harness and interconnect installation, integration, and sensor testing.
• Ability to develop testing setups with minimal direction or information.
• Knowledge of airworthiness, Quality, and manufacturing requirements for air vehicle validation.
• Experience in aircraft sub-systems assembly, integration, and work instruction authoring.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Catia V5 software and GSE.
• Knowledge of flight line operations, jet engine integration, and maintenance.
