Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Test Automation Engineer with 5–16 years of experience in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable and reliable test automation solutions. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience with Playwright, TypeScript, Appium, automation frameworks, API testing, and AI-driven testing approaches.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright and TypeScript.
• Develop and maintain web application automation frameworks and reusable automation components.
• Perform mobile application automation testing using Appium.
• Create and execute functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end automated test scenarios.
• Integrate automated test suites with CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve automation failures and application defects.
• Perform API testing and validate application integrations and backend services.
• Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, business teams, and other stakeholders to ensure application quality.
• Implement AI-driven testing approaches and leverage AI tools to improve test automation efficiency.
• Analyze test results, identify defects, and provide detailed test execution reports.
• Maintain automation scripts, test data, frameworks, and technical documentation.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, sprint planning, reviews, and defect triage activities.
• Continuously improve test automation coverage, framework performance, and overall testing processes.

Mandatory Skills

• 5–16 years of relevant experience in Software Testing / Test Automation
• Strong hands-on experience with Playwright
• Strong experience with TypeScript
• Hands-on experience in developing and maintaining automation frameworks
• Experience with Appium for mobile application automation testing
• Strong understanding of Functional, Regression, Integration, and End-to-End Testing
• Experience with API Testing and REST APIs
• Experience with Git / Version Control
• Experience in integrating automation tests with CI/CD pipelines
• Good understanding of test automation frameworks, design patterns, and reusable components
• Experience in debugging and troubleshooting automation failures
• Good understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Exposure to AI-based testing tools, AI-assisted test automation, or Generative AI concepts

Preferred Skills

• Experience with AI-driven test automation and AI-powered testing tools
• Experience with GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, or similar AI-assisted development/testing tools
• Knowledge of Selenium, Cypress, or other automation frameworks
• Experience with JavaScript
• Knowledge of mobile testing across Android and/or iOS platforms
• Experience with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, or similar CI/CD tools
• Knowledge of Docker and containerized test execution
• Experience with cloud-based testing platforms
• Exposure to performance and security testing
• Experience in BDD/TDD practices
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies

Education
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
