Description

You will support product verification, validation, and compliance testing for electrical and mechanical medical device components and systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute verification test methods, protocols, and reports for component and system requirements.
• Design test cases including methodology, setups, materials, equipment, and acceptance criteria.
• Execute functional testing of mechanical assemblies, electrical circuits, and electromechanical systems.
• Analyze test data for conformance to acceptance criteria and record results in ALM.
• Perform hands-on troubleshooting, rework, and calibration of electromechanical systems in a lab environment.
• Collaborate with R&D, Project Management, Quality, and manufacturing teams to provide timely feedback on test results.

Required Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
• Experience with system and component level electromechanical V&V testing.
• Ability to read and analyze electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
• Proficiency with lab equipment including oscilloscopes, DMM, and power supplies.
• Experience using force/pressure gauges, calipers, thermometers, flow meters, and scales.
• Knowledge of root cause analysis methods for fault diagnosis and isolation.
• Experience creating detailed technical documentation, plans, procedures, and reports.
• Proficiency using ALM for data recording and management.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with medical device compliance standards and requirements.
