Description
You will manage subsystem-level testing within a laboratory facility, overseeing the build, setup, and debugging phases to ensure test unit readiness.
Responsibilities
- Execute calibration and hardware evaluation tests, diagnosing and resolving issues during setup.
- Develop post-processing tools to ensure data quality and track data utility.
- Collaborate with design, 1D, and 3D analysis teams to meet program goals.
- Report timelines, results, and recommendations to development teams and technical experts.
Required Skills
- 10+ years of automotive engineering experience with engine system knowledge.
- Proficiency with computer and data acquisition systems.
- Experience in data analysis to optimize testing results.
- Ability to understand ECU algorithms and calibration processes.
- Capability to evaluate virtual metrics for hardware decision-making.
- Strong planning, problem-solving, and resource management skills.
- Bachelor's Degree in an engineering or physics field.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with AVL PUMA, IndiCom, CAMEO, or ETAS INCA software.
- Exposure to propulsion system calibration in test and vehicle environments.
