Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright.
• Build out and expand the test automation framework and coverage for the new Angular UI and backend services.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for continuous validation.
• Perform regression testing to confirm feature parity with the legacy SharePoint-based application.
• Identify, document, and track defects; collaborate with developers on root-cause analysis.
• Support cross-browser and cross-environment test execution.
• Report on test coverage, execution results, and quality trends.

Required Skills & Experience

• 4+ years of experience in test automation.
• Hands-on expertise with Playwright (or strong experience with a comparable framework such as Selenium/Cypress, with ability to ramp quickly).
• Experience testing Angular-based (or comparable modern SPA) web applications.
• Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript for test scripting.
• Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
• Working knowledge of API testing.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience testing financial services or other regulated applications.
• Exposure to performance or security testing tools.
• Experience validating a legacy-to-modern platform migration
