Description

You will own the execution and strategy for testing activities on small to moderately complex projects.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop test strategies, plans, and closure reports.
• Review system requirements and design documents to create, execute, and document detailed test cases.
• Analyze, debug, execute, maintain, and document test cases.
• Provide day-to-day test environment support, troubleshooting, and issue triage coordination.
• Identify testing risks and propose mitigation processes.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional testing experience.
• Bachelor's degree.
• Advanced knowledge of SQL and experience with complex data sources (SQL/NoSQL databases, XML, fixed length files).
• Experience with Hadoop ecosystem, including HQL, HDFS, partitioning, and data ingestion/extraction via scoop/oozie.
• Hands-on ETL testing and test automation experience using in-house or industry tools.
• Proficiency in at least one programming/scripting language: Java, Python, JQuery, Javascript, Angular, or VBA.
• Hands-on experience with Unix/Shell/Bash scripting.
• Working knowledge of Jira and Confluence.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Cucumber or Bitbucket.
• Working experience with Tableau.
