Description

You will own the end-to-end validation of integrated systems and data flows within the Guidewire Suite.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute integration test plans, test cases, and automated test scripts.
• Validate data flows between systems to ensure accurate mapping and transformation.
• Identify, document, and track defects using JIRA to collaborate with developers on resolution.
• Perform regression and end-to-end testing to guarantee system functionality and data integrity.
• Participate in design and code reviews to provide testing perspective and feedback.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of experience in software testing with a focus on integration and data testing.
• Hands-on experience with Guidewire Suite (PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, ClaimsCenter, and ContactManager).
• Proficiency in SQL for data validation and database testing.
• Experience with API testing using tools such as Postman or SoapUI.
• Experience with JIRA integration using APIs.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems like Git.
• Hands-on experience with automated testing tools and frameworks.
• Practical experience working within Agile environments.
• Background in the Canadian Personal or Commercial Insurance industry.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
