Description

Lead QA and automation efforts for UI and backend services, owning test strategies, frameworks, and release quality.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and build automated test frameworks from scratch or enhance existing ones for web, mobile, and backend APIs.
• Develop and maintain automated test suites using Selenium WebDriver, Java/Python, and API tools like Postman or RestAssured.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI) to ensure consistent regression coverage and early validation.
• Collaborate with development and product teams to define test scenarios, review scripts, and mentor junior testers.
• Track test progress, manage defects in JIRA, and report quality metrics including coverage for edge cases and performance.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of software testing experience with a strong focus on automation.
• Proficiency in Selenium WebDriver, Java, and .NET Web applications.
• Experience testing RESTful services using Postman, RestAssured, or similar tools.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and GitLab CI, and version control with Git.
• Knowledge of defect tracking (JIRA) and APM tools like Dynatrace.
• Understanding of SOA test automation frameworks, Agile methodology, and release management processes.
• Ability to create and maintain automation strategies for Web, Mobile, Desktop, Container, Backend APIs, DB, MQ, and Cloud (AWS).

Preferred Skills

• Experience with specialized automation tools like AccelQ, SeeTest, ReadyAPI, or UFT.
• Familiarity with AI testing tools and advanced test metrics.
