Description

Own the automation testing strategy, framework design, and execution for API and web services to ensure deployment readiness.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute automation test scripts for API testing using Rest Assured, Postman, or SouAPI.
• Design and implement modular, reusable test automation frameworks tailored to project requirements.
• Review design documents, business requirements, and acceptance criteria to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Lead test management tasks including estimation, requirements traceability matrix (RTM) creation, and stakeholder reporting.
• Monitor project health via SLAs, KPIs, risk indicators, and process metrics to ensure timely sign-off.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in test automation and test lead roles.
• Proficiency in Rest Assured for Java-based API testing.
• Hands-on experience with Postman and SouAPI for API testing and automation.
• Experience with SOAP web services testing.
• Intermediate SQL skills for data analysis and validation.
• Proven ability to design and implement reusable test frameworks.
• Experience in tool evaluation and implementation for test management.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with data automation and complex data validation scenarios.
