Description

You own the data quality strategy, test execution, and process improvements for data pipelines and ETL workflows.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop, execute, and maintain comprehensive test plans, cases, and suites for data systems.
• Perform data validation and testing using complex SQL queries across multiple systems, including Snowflake.
• Ensure data integrity and accuracy in ETL processes and data pipelines.
• Conduct end-to-end testing on data workflows, APIs, backend systems, and reporting tools.
• Identify, document, and track bugs while contributing to continuous improvements in QA processes and strategies.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in QA or software testing roles.
• Strong experience with SQL, including writing queries for data validation and analysis.
• Hands-on experience testing within Snowflake or other modern data platforms.
• Proven track record with ETL processes and ensuring data accuracy.
• Familiarity with SDLC, Agile methodologies, and QA best practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for cross-functional teamwork.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with ETL/ELT tools and data orchestration frameworks (e.g., Airflow, dbt).
• Knowledge of cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
• Exposure to Python for automation and scripting.
