Description

You will lead the verification and testing strategy for embedded software products, ensuring rigorous quality standards across the development lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans, protocols, and cases for embedded software verification and validation.
• Develop and maintain test automation frameworks, primarily using Python scripts, to streamline verification processes.
• Identify or build custom software test tools to verify system software and validate verification tools themselves.
• Conduct design verification tests on new and existing products, collaborating with cross-functional teams to define requirements.
• Provide technical guidance to the test engineering team and suggest improvements to testing methods for enhanced efficiency.

Required Skills

• 7 to 9 years of experience in software verification and testing activities.
• Strong proficiency in Python scripts for test automation and tool development.
• Experience with embedded software verification and validation.
• Ability to design complex test protocols and manage test case execution.
• Experience in validating software tools used for verification purposes.
• Strong understanding of test method formulation for system software.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (Any Graduate).

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of medical device validation and verification protocols (e.g., ISO/IEC 62366:2007).
• Experience leading a team of test engineers.
