Description

You will lead quality assurance for a hybrid data platform, owning ETL and analytics layer testing.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Define QA strategies for the hybrid ETL stack, covering Informatica PowerCenter and dbt.
• Validate Informatica mappings, workflows, and data transformations across staging and ODS layers.
• Test dbt models, YAML configurations, and materialization strategies in the analytics layer.
• Execute complex SQL queries for full and sample-based data reconciliation across all layers.
• Lead defect triage and manage the end-to-end defect lifecycle in JIRA.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in ETL and data warehouse testing.
• Expertise in Informatica PowerCenter, including mappings, sessions, and workflow monitoring.
• Hands-on experience testing dbt models, tests, and documentation.
• Advanced SQL skills for data validation, record count reconciliation, and field-level checks.
• Experience with Snowflake and data warehouse architectures.
• Proficiency with Git and CI/CD pipeline integration using GitHub Actions.
• Experience using JIRA for defect management and tracking.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of data governance, PII masking, and metadata validation.
• Ability to analyze Source-to-Target Mapping (STTM) documents and business rules.
