Description

You will lead performance testing efforts for release readiness, owning the full lifecycle from design to optimization.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Develop, execute, and analyze performance workloads and system benchmarks using JMeter and Gatling.
• Collaborate with developers to define non-functional requirements and deliver performance fixes.
• Troubleshoot performance test scripts and enhance them with strong technical debugging skills.
• Conduct benchmarking, performance analysis, and capacity modeling to support planning.
• Configure and maintain performance testing setups within CI/CD pipelines, resolving issues as they arise.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in software testing and quality assurance.
• Hands-on expertise with JMeter and Gatling for load and performance testing.
• Experience integrating performance tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Proficiency with APM tools, specifically Datadog, for bottleneck identification and root cause analysis.
• Strong scripting and debugging capabilities for test automation.
• Ability to design prototypes for system performance, scalability, and reliability improvements.
• Experience conducting capacity modeling and performance analysis.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in capacity planning and proactive system optimization.
