Description

You will lead performance engineering efforts through analysis, testing, and tuning of distributed platforms.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and tune performance across Linux, Windows, AWS, Containers, and VMware environments.
• Develop tools utilizing JMS, IBM-MQ, or Kafka messaging systems.
• Perform advanced statistical modeling, including time series analysis and forecasting.
• Model queuing networks and simulate performance using industry-standard analytic tools.
• Implement CI/CD pipeline testing using Jenkins or similar tools.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of performance engineering experience (analysis, testing, and tuning).
• 10+ years of related professional experience.
• Expertise with Teamquest, Omi, Cloudwatch, Dynatrace, Appdynamics, or Splunk.
• Proficiency in scripting with Perl, Unix Shell, Python, or Terraform.
• Experience with AWS services including Kinesis, Elastic Beanstalk, and Lambda.
• Background in developing n-tier, J2EE software applications.
• Experience in Unix or Linux environments.
• Knowledge of RESTful web services, JSON, and XML.
• Experience with Relational Databases, preferably Oracle.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in the financial services industry.
• Experience working within Agile/Scrum teams.
