You will support prototype development and the testing of new and existing products within the development lab.
Responsibilities
Perform testing on new, modified, and production product designs under operational conditions following engineering instructions.
Install equipment in test fixtures, including the connection of valves, pumps, hydraulic, mechanical, or electrical controls, cabling, tubing, and instrumentation.
Record and document numerical and graphical test results to ensure compliance with test objectives.
Maintain, calibrate, and organize laboratory equipment and test setups.
Document mechanical or electrical problems and adjust equipment to meet functional limits.
Required Skills
5+ years of experience in a technical or testing environment.
Basic understanding of mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
Knowledge of component function and testing procedures.
Ability to read and apply drawings and geometric tolerances.
Proficiency with Windows PC, including spreadsheets and word processing.
Experience using WISE applications including BOM, Item Master, NCR, EC screens, and part tracking.
Ability to troubleshoot basic instrumentation.
Strong technical writing and verbal communication skills.
