Description

You will design, construct, rework, and test prototype electrical systems and components. You will own the setup and monitoring of environmental and regulatory tests while developing technician processes.

Responsibilities

• Design and build prototype equipment for electrical systems per engineering specifications.
• Rework and repair SMT PCAs using Metcal and Air pencil tools.
• Setup, run, and monitor environmental and regulatory system tests.
• Write basic test plans and improve technician processes.
• Solve technical problems using independent judgment and hardware test equipment.

Required Skills

• 4+ years of relevant technician experience.
• Read and interpret schematics, printouts, and hardware specifications.
• Strong electrical and mechanical reworking skills.
• Working knowledge of hardware test equipment: voltmeter, oscilloscope, pattern generator, logic analyzer.
• Setup test equipment and measure electrical signals.
• Ability to work independently with minimal guidance.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Ability to set up network equipment.
• Knowledge of environmental and regulatory testing.
