Tester III - Software Testing

You will execute software testing for data engineering projects across on-prem and cloud environments.

Responsibilities

• Construct test scenarios and systematic test cases based on customer user stories or requirements.
• Execute test cases and scripts to ensure components meet usability, performance, and compatibility standards.
• Identify, log, and track defects while documenting all test results.
• Perform gap analysis between requirement fitment and the technology stack.
• Guide other testers and report on the test activities of a small team.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience as a QA Engineer working with data engineering projects.
• Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries for data analysis and QA test execution.
• Hands-on experience with ETL processes and different ETL tools.
• Experience working with large data sets in both on-prem and cloud environments.
• Technical expertise in SQL, SAP-BODS, Informatica IICS, and AWS.
• Strong ability in scenario testing, test case design, and test script execution.
• Experience performing gap analysis and requirement reviews to identify ambiguities.
• Proven ability to coordinate and work alongside offshore resources.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with QA automation on the data engineering side.
• Knowledge of regulatory domains such as CCAR, LFI, CECL, IFRS9, or ALLL.
• Experience with ETL testing, Data Warehousing, Report Testing, or Guidewire.
