Description

You validate data integrity and software functionality across complex data platforms, owning release quality for large-scale datasets and web applications.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Test and validate large datasets ranging in the hundreds of GBs.
• Write and automate backend and frontend tests for SQL databases, data warehouses, and data lake houses.
• Develop automated tests for websites and Tableau visualizations.
• Analyze customer requirements to design and execute effective test plans.
• Manage source code and test scripts using Git.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional testing experience.
• Hands-on experience with IBM Cloud Pak for Data.
• Proficiency in Pytest, JUnit, or Selenium frameworks.
• Strong SQL skills for database and data warehouse testing.
• Experience testing web applications and websites.
• Experience validating Tableau visualizations.
• Proficiency with Git source control.
• Ability to work with large-scale datasets (hundreds of GBs).

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent graduate level education.
