Description

You will drive a shift-left testing strategy by integrating automation directly into the code commitment process.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Set test automation standards and best practices aligned with DevOps CI/CD for AWS, Azure, Salesforce, Heroku, MuleSoft, Kafka, and Snowflake.
• Collaborate with software engineering, product owners, and DevOps teams to increase test execution speed and efficiency.
• Assess team test automation tools, scripting, and frameworks to provide mentorship and guidance on improvements.
• Shape the automation strategy and coordinate with Scrum teams to implement and execute automation plans.
• Collect and analyze test automation metrics to measure and advance maturity across teams.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on coding and development experience using at least three of: Java, .NET, C#, Python, Salesforce, Heroku, MuleSoft, Kafka, or Snowflake.
• Proven experience with shift-left quality assurance within DevOps CI/CD environments.
• Expertise with three or more test automation tools such as JMeter, helium.io, SOAPSonar, SoapUI, Gatling, Selenium, Appium, SauceLabs, JUnit, Mockito, Apex, or Robot Framework.
• Strong understanding of REST and demonstrated experience in REST API testing.
• Experience with SCM and CI systems, specifically GitLab.
• Experience executing and coordinating integration, API, regression, and user-acceptance testing.
• Proficiency with Agile/Scrum methodologies and Jira/Atlassian tools.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent relevant experience.
