Description

You will manage and administer the core Tibco Spotfire environment, including multi-tier clustered architecture, installation, configuration, and hotfix deployment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the Spotfire environment and handle disaster recovery for databases and related applications.
• Architect, implement, and train users on Spotfire reporting and migration processes.
• Manage application performance monitoring, capacity planning, and environment tuning.
• Administer Spotfire Statistics Services and integrate the server with LDAP environments.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts to define reporting requirements and implement user-level security.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of BI Administration experience, specifically with Tibco Spotfire.
• Hands-on experience with Windows operating systems and L3-level troubleshooting.
• Experience installing and configuring Spotfire Server, Statistics Services, and database drivers.
• Knowledge of load-balanced web architecture using Apache Tomcat or IBM HTTP Server.
• Experience with continuously available Spotfire Server configurations.
• Proficiency with RDBMS, including SQL Server and Oracle.
• Strong SQL skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with disaster recovery management for database applications.
