Description

You will design, implement, and maintain data infrastructure centered on Timescale DB.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable Timescale DB architectures for data storage.
• Develop ETL pipelines to ingest, transform, and store data from multiple sources.
• Optimize database performance and ensure data quality and integrity.
• Monitor database performance and proactively troubleshoot issues.
• Implement security best practices for data storage and access.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience working with Timescale DB or other time-series databases.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and database schema design.
• Experience with ETL processes and data integration techniques.
• Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience with containerization using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Proven ability in database performance optimization.

Preferred Skills

• Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Experience with distributed systems and big data technologies.
• Knowledge of data warehousing, data modeling, and schema management.
