TIRKS SME

You will serve as the technical expert for the TIRKS inventory system and associated network infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and support all switching equipment within Central Offices.
• Manage the installation, support, and maintenance of special circuits, fiber, and copper networks.
• Monitor and support all switch alarm activity and transport networks.
• Oversee central power platforms and backup generator maintenance.
• Execute service fulfillment and service assurance workflows.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in network and inventory management.
• Deep technical knowledge of the TIRKS inventory system.
• Experience with network migration to and from TIRKS.
• Proficiency in Ethernet, Internet Protocol (IP), and SONET.
• Hands-on experience with L1, L2, and L3 tasks.
• Ability to perform change management and complex troubleshooting.
• Understanding of inside and outside plant cabling practices.
• Knowledge of safety rules and regulations.
• Ability to drive technical issues to resolution.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in promoting and selling network services.
