Description

Manage the installation, configuration, and administration of Tivoli Workload Scheduler application servers and operating systems.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain application servers, operating systems, and the core Tivoli application.
• Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve system hardware, software, and networking issues.
• Maintain workstation and server data integrity through hardware/software solutions and backup verification.
• Research and document operating procedures for technical support, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
• Manage batch jobs and modify batch schedules based on customer requirements.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience installing, configuring, and administering application servers and operating systems.
• 4+ years of experience troubleshooting system hardware, software, and networking issues.
• 4+ years of experience managing workstation and server data integrity and backup schedules.
• 4+ years of experience developing technical documentation and operating procedures.
• 4+ years of experience translating customer requirements into batch job additions and schedule modifications.
• Experience with event monitoring and operations architecture.
• Ability to determine technical and system requirements for server installation and maintenance.
