Description

You will code, test, and debug Java Web applications to maintain and enhance the Transportation Management System (TMS). You write specifications for low-to-moderate complexity programs and manage the Web Application Server for TMS deployment.

Responsibilities

• Code, test, and debug Java Web programs for TMS maintenance and enhancement.
• Manage the Web Application Server and oversee TMS system deployment.
• Monitor application logs and perform basic administrative tasks for daily operations.
• Coordinate and setup interfaces with vendors using EDI protocols.
• Apply and test software packages during TMS installation and upgrades.

Required Skills

• 2+ years of Java Web Programming experience; entry-level considered.
• Proficiency in HTML, JavaScript, and XSLT for design and development.
• Experience with Oracle SQL query writing and performance enhancement.
• Technical expertise in integrating logistics systems with third-party applications via EDI.
• Hands-on system operation experience for TMS platforms.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for program design and testing.
