Description

You will install, maintain, and repair wireless cell site components and radio antenna equipment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and de-install wireless cell site components and electrical equipment.
• Clamber towers and ladders of various heights to perform repairs and site modifications.
• Troubleshoot, calibrate, and test telecommunications equipment.
• Execute construction, optimization, and acceptance test procedures for wireless infrastructure.
• Operate a computer or tablet for job tasks and reporting.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of previous telecommunications tower experience.
• Proven ability to climb structures and work at heights exceeding 80 feet.
• Proficiency with hand and power tools.
• Knowledge of electronic, mechanical, and electrical components.
• Ability to understand rigging techniques and calculate figures/amounts.
• Capability to lift over 50 pounds and work in extreme weather or high altitudes.
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
• Willingness to travel for multiple days and work on-call.

Preferred Skills

• Climbing Safety & Rescue Certification.
• Ability to read and understand construction drawings.
