Description

You will provide L2/L2.5 production support directly on the Chicago trading floor, owning incident detection, root-cause investigation, and problem management within ITIL frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Resolve application malfunctions including input issues, EOD processes, data backups, MQ issues, and reporting errors.
• Own end-to-end high and critical production issues through fire-call support, including off-hours and bi-monthly weekend rotations.
• Execute change management, application administration, capacity planning, and DR documentation maintenance.
• Coordinate with offshore support, developers, audit, and vendors to resolve production processes and reduce incident frequency via Lean programs.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in technical, business-facing roles within financial institutions.
• Deep understanding of the trade life cycle and Order Management Systems (OMS).
• Hands-on experience with FIX messaging and formats.
• Technical proficiency in Python, Perl, PowerShell, Java, and Power BI.
• Experience managing Middleware, MQ/Tibco, and Weblogic.
• Proficiency with ServiceNow for incident and request management.
• Strong functional knowledge of Brokerage or Securities Finance.
• Ability to communicate confidently with traders and stakeholders in a high-pressure environment.
• Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC).

Preferred Skills

• Specific experience with Flextrade OMS.
• Prior working knowledge of Client systems.
