Description

Lead advanced traffic systems analysis and development to support large-scale technology programs.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Map current and future state traffic services, conduct gap analyses, and plan delivery milestones.
• Design, install, and monitor integrated traffic control technology systems and hardware.
• Analyze and manipulate traffic system data to drive decisions and communicate insights to stakeholders.
• Establish priorities for the maintenance, design, and development of entire traffic systems.
• Manage third-party vendors and evaluate new hardware and software resources for acquisition.

Required Skills

• 8 years of experience in project development for engineering projects or IT applications/systems.
• Proficiency in systems development using analysis, design, and documentation methodologies.
• Experience with project management methodologies and handling multiple concurrent projects.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills for complex technical issues.
• Ability to communicate highly technical information to diverse audiences.
• Expertise in traffic data, analysis, and system performance monitoring.
• Bachelor's Degree in engineering, information systems, computer science, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• 4 years of experience with traffic applications, signals, and hardware.
• 4 years of public sector experience (Federal, State, or Local Government).
• 4 years of experience preparing and delivering presentations to large groups.
