Description

Lead the planning, design, and integration of advanced traffic control technology systems.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Map current and future state traffic services, conducting gap analyses and planning delivery milestones.
• Create and deliver technical solutions as the primary Subject Matter Expert.
• Act as a liaison between the project user community and IT to supply solutions meeting specific client needs.
• Manage third-party vendors and direct best practices for traffic networking, data, device hardware, and applications.
• Evaluate new hardware and software resources to identify strengths, weaknesses, and agency benefits.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in traffic systems analysis and development.
• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited four-year college or university.
• Expertise in systems development using analysis, design, and documentation methodologies.
• Proficiency in project management methodologies.
• Experience managing traffic networking, data, and device hardware.
• Ability to analyze complex issues and recommend technical solutions.
• Strong oral and written communication skills to convey technical information to diverse audiences.
• Proven ability to prioritize multiple projects and meet strict deadlines.
