Description

You will own the design and development of AT/CVT transmission systems, including synchronizer pack design and calibrations.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop AT/CVT transmission systems and relevant synchronizer packs.
• Perform analytical calculations for gears, shafts, shifting systems, and bearing selection.
• Execute full product lifecycles from concept design to detailed design and assembly manuals.
• Prepare manufacturing drawings with defined tolerances and manage Bill of Materials (BoM).
• Collaborate with suppliers to oversee manufacturing processes and ensure quality.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in transmission systems design.
• Expertise in AT/CVT transmission systems and synchronizer pack design.
• Proficiency in Gear Design and analytical mechanical calculations.
• Strong knowledge of GD&T, DFMEA, DFA, and stack-up analysis.
• Experience with Kisssoft and Romax for drivetrain optimization and simulation.
• Working knowledge of heat treatment, gear cutting processes, and technical design documentation.
• Competency in CATIA V5 or UG NX for CAD design.
• Experience in sheet metal, pipe, and hose design.
• Ability to manage Engineering Change Management processes.

Preferred Skills

• Proficiency in UG NX, PLM, Team Centre, and MS Office.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
