Description

You will manage the software release lifecycle and technical incident response across various devices.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the entire release lifecycle, including deployment, triage, mitigation, and tool development.
• Diagnose and resolve system issues using Linux and networking protocols, including packet capture analysis.
• Analyze monitoring data, system logs, and performance metrics to detect anomalies and identify root causes.
• Design and enhance operational tools to improve system performance and automate triage processes.
• Lead and mentor a small team of engineers while communicating technical insights to stakeholders.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience with C/C++ and Linux systems.
• 2+ years of experience as a technical lead mentoring engineers.
• Proficiency in scripting with Bash, Go, or Python.
• Experience with AWS (S3, Athena, QuickSight) or Azure cloud infrastructure.
• Hands-on experience with Git and GitHub.
• Proficiency using Jira for defect tracking.
• Experience with monitoring systems such as Datadog or CloudWatch.
• Knowledge of CI/CD processes and tools like Jenkins or Concourse.
• Experience with embedded systems.

Preferred Skills

• Domain knowledge in Set-top boxes, Broadband Gateways, Networking, or Home Security.
