Description

You will manage technical triage and software development for embedded Linux-based networking and media devices, including Broadband Gateways and Cable modems.

Responsibilities

• Translate product requirements into technical solutions for embedded platforms.
• Develop and debug software for Linux targets using C and C++.
• Integrate SoCs and manage low-level platform software and device drivers.
• Analyze and optimize system performance across CPU, GPU, NPU, TPU, and memory.
• Test and validate embedded Linux platforms and network devices.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of software development experience in C and C++.
• Hands-on experience with Linux application development and POSIX standards.
• Proficiency with Yocto, Git, Gerrit, and shell scripting.
• Experience with SoC integration and Linux internals.
• Knowledge of networking protocols including TCP/IP, PPP, DHCP, IPv4, IPv6, OpenSync, and OVS.
• Experience with IP routers, DSL, GPON, Wi-Fi (802.11n/ac), VoIP, and network devices.
• Background in broadband technologies, DOCSIS, or embedded Linux platforms.
• Experience using Jira and Confluence for workflow management.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with router stacks such as RDK-B, OpenWrt, or prpl-ware.
• Deep understanding of Set Top Box software stacks and RDK video stacks.
• Knowledge of AV pipelines and media framework middleware.
