Description

You own the initial analysis and triage of defects to determine root causes before assignment to development teams.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Analyze defects to distinguish between environmental, setup, IVI, and server-side issues.
• Route defects to the correct queues, including HU, Server, Tier 1, or Tier 2.
• Monitor defect dashboards and lead triage calls to drive issues toward resolution.
• Create dashboards and reports for management and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Evaluation, and Development teams to clarify and track defects.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering.
• Experience in the Automotive Infotainment domain with embedded software development in C, C++, and Linux.
• Proficiency with JIRA, Confluence, and log analysis tools.
• Knowledge of high-level system architecture, including software design, sequence diagrams, APIs, and HTTP error codes.
• Competency with Linux commands, utilities, and basic Python scripting.
• Experience working within Agile and Scrum methodologies.
• Ability to identify and evaluate issues at the code level.

Preferred Skills

• Experience designing, developing, and debugging software in a real-time embedded environment.
• Knowledge of reading DLT logs, using DLT-Viewer, and applying filters.
