Description

You will own the initial analysis and triage of defects for automotive infotainment systems before assignment to development teams.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-level defect analysis to filter environmental issues and distinguish between IVI and server-side problems.
• Route defects to the correct queues (HU, Server, Tier1, Tier2) and drive triage calls with product owners and development teams.
• Monitor defect dashboards, track issues to closure, and create reports for management stakeholders.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to clarify defects and resolve ambiguity under pressure.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in the Automotive Infotainment domain with embedded software development.
• Proficiency in C/C++ and Linux, including familiarity with Linux commands, utilities, and basic Python scripting.
• Experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies, including requirement analysis and understanding.
• Strong knowledge of high-level system architecture, SW design, sequence diagrams, APIs, and HTTP error codes.
• Hands-on experience with JIRA and Confluence for defect tracking and documentation.
• Ability to analyze logs and debug software in real-time embedded environments.

Preferred Skills

• Experience reading and filtering DLT logs using DLT-Viewer.
• Background in designing, developing, and debugging software in real-time embedded systems.
