Description

You will architect and build scalable backend systems using TypeScript, Node.js, and AWS services.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement REST APIs and event-driven systems using Kafka MSK and DynamoDB.
• Build and maintain containerized applications using Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, Istio, and Argo.
• Establish CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins or Gitlab and manage cloud infrastructure deployments.
• Implement caching architectures with Redis and monitoring solutions like Splunk, Instana, or Datadog.
• Apply software security principles, test-driven development, and automated testing frameworks.

Required Skills

• 15+ years of overall software engineering experience.
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript Backend development and Node.js.
• Deep experience with NoSQL databases, specifically DynamoDB or similar key-value stores.
• Hands-on expertise with AWS managed services and container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker).
• Experience with messaging systems, particularly Kafka MSK.
• Proficiency in CI/CD automation tools such as Jenkins and Gitlab.
• Knowledge of API documentation standards, specifically Swagger (OpenAPI).
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• Strong understanding of Scrum/Agile methodologies and DevOps collaboration.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with service mesh technologies like Istio.
• Familiarity with multiple monitoring tools (Prometheus, Splunk, Instana).
