Description

Build and scale internal REST services using TypeScript and functional programming paradigms.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain internal REST services written in TypeScript.
• Design systems to scale services and automate deliverable processes.
• Own end-to-end fulfillment of test content requests and manage service catalogs.
• Implement Test Driven Development to surface test content and mock services.
• Support partner needs regarding media playback and maintain technical documentation.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in JavaScript.
• 3+ years of experience with advanced TypeScript.
• 2+ years of experience building APIs.
• 2+ years of experience leading a project.
• 2+ years of experience working in a cross-functional capacity.
• Experience mocking data and services.
• Experience writing unit tests.
• Experience with authentication, authorization, and access management.
• Proficiency with Git source control and Agile methodologies.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with AWS and SQL.
• Experience with functional paradigms and interest in the HLS video space.
